Lions Seafood Festival 2017
March 3 - 5, 2017 at Francis Field
The 36th Annual St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts, live music, family activities, and much more. The festival will take place at Francis Field from Friday to Sunday, March 3 to 5, 2017.
An amazing array of fresh food is on offer at this popular annual event, including crab, shrimp, crab legs, gyros, pizza, and Asian cuisine. There are rides that the whole family will enjoy, and live music every day of the festival, with each day featuring a different musical style. Additionally, guests can browse through the amazing selection of handcrafted items such as housewares, pottery, artwork, and jewelry, at the Arts and Crafts Village. Over 100 artists participate by showcasing some of their latest work at the festival.
For kids, there's a Kidz Zone, Pirate Village and Spanish Landing, as well as a Clown Adventure and special presentations with Mayhem the Pirate Magician and Nutter Interactive Percussion. A ride wristband at a discounted rate can be purchased so kids can ride all day.
The live entertainment schedule for the 36th Annual Lions Seafood Festival will be announced in February of 2017. The 2016 event featured Linda Cole (niece of Nat King Cole), Florida State Bluegrass Band and rising country star Christian Lopez.
No pets or coolers allowed on festival grounds. All proceeds from this event benefit the St. Augustine Lions Club Charities.
Admission: $5 for adults; ages 15 and under admitted FREE.
When: Friday, March 3, 2017 – Sunday, March 5, 2017. Hours on Friday are 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Arts and Crafts Village closes at sundown each day.
Where: Francis Field is located at 25 W. Castillo Dr. (next to the Visitor’s Center and the parking garage in downtown St. Augustine).
Parking and Shuttle Services: On Saturday, March 4, 2017, the City of St. Augustine will provide free parking and shuttle services for this event. The shuttle will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday only, and will pick up from the following locations: the St. Johns County Health Department (200 San Sebastian View), and the North San Marco Lot (301 San Marco Avenue). The shuttle will drop off at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility, which is located next to Francis Field (where this event will be held).
