The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival at World Golf Village
For five days, from Wednesday, May 3, through Sunday, May 7, 2023, the St. Augustine Food and Wine Festival will present celebrity chefs, food prepared by some of St. Augustine's favorite eateries, and classes in wine, beer, distilled spirits, and food preparation. Those who attend have multiple opportunities to enjoy food created by visiting chefs and some of the area's best local chefs—including southern specialties, cooking by fire, a grand banquet, and a Jazz Brunch on Mother's Day. Tickets are limited and may be purchased a la carte or in various packages.
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS FROM THE 2022 FESTIVAL. We will update for the 2023 festival as information is provided to us.
The 2022 festival will feature many of the events from the inaugural Food and Wine Festival in 2021, and will include three new events:
- River Walk Tastings in Historic Downtown St. Augustine at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
- Preserved Wine Dinner, at Preserved Restaurant, 102 Bridge Street, St. Augustine, at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2022.
- Masters of Fire at Urban Asado in Lincolnville, 150 Riberia Street, St. Augustine at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2022.
River Walk Tastings
The 2022 St. Augustine Food and Wine Festival opens with a progressive event, the River Walk Tastings along the San Sebastian Riverfront on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. The event takes place east of the river at San Sebastian Winery and west of the river at Homewood Suites. Guests may choose to walk across the bridge from one event to the other or hop on a special free trolley.
At San Sebastian Winery, Chef Norberto Jaramillo from La Cocina International Restaurant offers tasting bites paired with wines from San Sebastian Winery.
At Homewood Suites by Hilton on the San Sebastian, tasting bites will be served with samples from all of the festival's official beverage partners.

Hall of Fame Winemakers Dinner
On Thursday, May 5, 2022, the festival continues with a "Hall of Fame Winemakers Dinner" at the St. Johns County Convention Center. The reception begins at 6:00 p.m. and the dinner will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
This gourmet food lover's event offers a Charcuterie board reception followed by a six-course dinner featuring local and celebrity chefs. Chefs for the dinner include Cat Cora, Iron Chef and author; Jernard Wells, author and television personality; William Dissen, chef and owner of The Market Place in Asheville, North Carolina; Hari Pulapaka, chef and author; Barry Honan, Executive Chef and Owner of the Lotus Noodle Bar; and Renaissance World Golf Village Executive Chef, DeeAnn Hobbs. Each course will be paired with wine and the reception includes an open bar with a Charcuterie display from Chop Shop Artisan Butcher and Preserved Restaurant, prepared by Brian Whittington of Preserved Restaurant.
Throughout the festival, those who love trying new flavors and parings will have the opportunity to learn about foods, beverages, and how well they go together, and on Friday participants may opt to learn more formally with a series of Master Classes.
The day will start at with an "off-site" master class at the St. Augustine Distillery in St. Augustine, where Co-Founder and CEO Philip McDaniel and Brand Ambassador, Clark Gilmore, will offer signature bourbon tastings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Four additional master classes will be held at the St. Johns County Convention Center in World Golf Village.
- 1:00 - 1:45 — "Fresh Pulled Mozarella" with Cat Cora
- 2:00 - 2:45 — "Mastering Biscuits" with Rebeca Lang
- 3:00 - 3:45 — "Gulla Geechee Recipes from Bress 'N' Nyam" with Matthew Raiford
- 4:00 - 4:45 — "Taste Like a Master Sommelier" with Master Sommelier, Will Costello
Smoked, Grilled, and Roasted Barbeque Bites on Friday at the "Smoke on the Walk"
Friday will conclude with "Smoke on the Walk" along the Walk of Champions and World Golf Hall of Fame. This "BBQ Extravaganza" allows guests to sample the flavors of some of the southeast's most loved grill masters and pit-masters. Those who attend can enjoy unlimited beverage samples as they try smoked, grilled, and roasted barbeque bites.
Rise and Shine on Saturday Morning
On Saturday, May 7, 2022, those who choose to do so may begin their day with a Champagne, a Bloody Mary, or a Mimosa with delectable lite bites of breakfast at the St. Johns County Convention Center, 500 S. Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, Florida.
St. Augustine Food and Wine Festival — Main Event
The festival continues with the "St. Augustine Food and Wine Festival Main Event" from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022. The afternoon includes an array of culinary and beverage tastings plus live music in the Walk of Champions at the World Golf Hall of Fame. There, ticket holders will have the opportunity to sample unlimited beverage tastings, while visiting a variety of exhibitors, including artisans and farmers, as well as tasting food from some of the best restaurants and food trucks found in St. Augustine and the South.
Admission: $85.00 per person.
Preserved Wine Dinner
Another option for Saturday, beginning at 6:00 p.m., Executive Chef Brian Whittington and Chef Ben Zimmerman, of Preserved Restaurant, prepare a four-course dinner for a limited seating of 50 people. Each course for the Preserved Wine Dinner will be presented with Amalie Robert wine pairings.
Admission: $225.00 per person.
Masters of Fire
Also on Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Masters of Fire presents an evening of live fire grilling on the shore of the San Sebastian River. Chefs Nick Carrera, Matt Brown, and Hari Pulapaka will be joined by two other area chefs on an evening that allows guests to simply relax or to interact with the chefs as they cook food using 5 different live fire techniques buried in ash and embers (rescoldo), open fire roasting, live-fire grilling, smoking, and Patagonia-style whole animal cook over an open fire.
Admission: $250.00 per person. This is a casual indoor/outdoor event for those 21 and over and seating is limited to 56 people.
The Jazz Brunch on Mother's Day
The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival will conclude on Sunday, Mother's Day, with "The Jazz Brunch" complete with a Bloody Mary Bar, champagne, Mimosas, a multi-station brunch, and music. The Jazz Brunch takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with three seatings, and is a family-friendly event with special prices for those under 13.
Admission: $90.00 for adults, $25.00 for children 6 - 12, Free for those under six.

Where: Most events will take place at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine and the St. Johns County Convention Center at World Golf Village. River Walk Tastings take place at San Sebastian Winery and at Homewood Suites. The master classes will be held at World Golf Village, except for one class at the St. Augustine Distillery. The Preserved Restaurant Wine Dinner will be at Preserved at 102 Bridge Street. The Masters of Fire will take place at Urban Asado, 150 Riberia Street.

The museum at the World Golf Hall of Fame displays over 4,000 items, including personal memorabilia of Hall of Fame members such as Nancy Lopez, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus. The mission of the World Golf Hall of Fame is to preserve these legacies of all who have made golf great, and to celebrate the sport at every level.
