Ancient City Limits: Amy Hendrickson & John Dickie IV
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Ancient City Music presents another evening featuring local musicians with "Song-to-Song," featuring Amy Hendrickson and John Dickie, IV. Both of these singer-songwriters take the stage together, sharing songs, stories about their songs, and their experiences as musicians. Limelight's stage at the Black Box Theater provides the perfect setting for an intimate performance.
The Concert
John Dickie IV has written songs about his hometown of Baltimore, his adopted city of St. Augustine, and the towns and railroads in between. Dickie's relaxed and thoughtful approach to his music includes exceptional musicianship, heartfelt lyrics, and melodies that stick with you long after the show.
Amy Hendrickson has lived and performed in St. Augustine so long that most consider her a home-grown musician. Many of her original songs have recognizable references to St. Augustine. Hendrickson is a creative songwriter who has a clear voice that can be deceptively sweet in one song and growl or threaten in the next. When performing in local restaurants, she often plays covers, giving each familiar song her own stamp or technique.
Both Dickie and Hendrickson are known as generous musicians, and both have performed with several other local acts through the years. Dickie frequently leads his group, John Dickie and the Collapsible B, at local music festivals and venues.
Presented by Lullaby of the Rivers, this is one of several concerts under the Ancient City Limits banner, and billed as "Great Music. No Limits."
