Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life

Come and support the fight against cancer at the Annual Pedro Menendez High School's American Cancer Society Relay for Life event. The local community comes out to walk, camp out and raise awareness for those who have overcome cancer, are still fighitng or have bravely lost the the fight to cancer. The Relay beings with a Survivor Lap where survivors of cancer are honored by those in attendance. They will hold a Luminaria Ceremony where you will get the chance to light a candle and take a moment to honor all those affected by this disease.

Other activities will include a corn-hole event, hula hoop contest, line dancing, Karaoke contest, Zumba, and more. There will also be live entertainment from Go Get Gone, The South Woods Band, Penguin Teeth, The Show Time Performers and Comedian and Paul Jensen. All of St. Johns and the surrounding counties are encouraged to participate in this event and help uplift the local community and all those in it who are affected by cancer.
