The museum is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This Exhibit
Kendra Frorup received her M.F.A. in sculpture from Syracuse University and is now an Associate Professor of Art and Design at the University of Tampa. Museums in the Caribbean, France, Puerto Rico, and the United States have exhibited her work.
Roots, Return, and the Weight of Memory is a reflection of the Bahamas, where she was born, and her travels to other countries and continents. Her pieces use organic materials, found objects, printmaking, and cast materials to evoke home, migration, and concepts that explore Caribbean culture and identity throughout the world.
