Written and recorded in the year following his father’s death, the album draws its title from “I’m A Riser,” a song about resilience and determination. Dierks is an acclaimed country artist and continues his commitment to making music with Risers. This latest album provides a deeper insight into Dierks as a person as well as an artist. The brothers grew up in Maryland and spent much of their childhood writing and playing songs. Both brothers loved music and performing, and both ended up in Nashville. At first the brothers performed in other bands, but when TJ moved to Nashville the Brothers Osborne was formed and they began playing gigs. In 2011 Warner Chappell/King Pen Music offered them a publishing deal, and a year after they singed a record deal with Capitol Records.
