St. Augustine's Nights of Lights Festival is truly a sight to behold, and even more so when viewed from the water. Florida Water Tours offers nightly tours aboard their charter boat Osprey throughout the duration of the Nights of Lights -- from November 17, 2018, to February 3, 2019.
There are three tour times for the Nights of Lights Florida Water Tours cruises: 6:00 – 7:15 p.m., 7:45 – 9:00 p.m., and 9:30 – 10:45 p.m. The first tour (6:00 p.m.) is ideal for youngsters (all ages are welcome), while the last two cruises (7:45 and 9:30 p.m.) are geared more towards adult (18+) passengers. On Saturday, November 17, 2018, when the Light Up! Ceremony takes place downtown and the lights are first turned on at 6:30 p.m., there will be a special 2-hour tour from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The two later tours that night (7:45 and 9:30 p.m.) are regular tours.
On New Year's Eve on Monday, December 31, 2018, only the 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. tours will go out. The 7:45 p.m. tour will be extended to give guests a chance to view the the New Year's fireworks over St. Augustine Beach. No discounts are available on this night.
On Saturday, December 8, 2018, The Regatta of Lights takes place on Matanzas Bay. Florida Water Tours invites guests to watch the parade from their decorated boat. The Regatta of Lights tour departs at 6 p.m., followed by two Nights of Lights tours at 7:45 and 9:30 p.m. The 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. tours are suggested for guests interested in seeing the parade.
Admission: Tickets are available for $49.00 per person. Children under age 3 are $8.00 per person (allowed only on the 6 p.m. tour). Guests may purchase tickets here.

Florida Water Tours provides wool blankets for chilly evenings. Guests are free to bring their favorite snacks or small appetizers, and an on-board bar is open for purchase on all tours. Guests should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the time of departure to accommodate the check-in process as well as the captain's mandatory safety briefing. Please keep in mind that gratuity is not included.
