Flagler College Theatre Arts Department presents Twelve Angry Jurors, based on the Emmy award-winning television movie by Reginald Rose and adapted by Sherman L. Sergel, from Wednesday, February 25, through Sunday, March 1, at the Lewis Auditorium. On Wednesday through Saturday, the performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday has a matineé showing at 2:00 p.m.
Set after a murder trial hearing, this play tells the story of how a 19-year-old's fate lies in the hands of 12 men. What should have been an open-and-shut case turns into a more detailed examination of the events that took place. With one juror questioning and presenting certain facts, all the men began to show their true colors as the verdict must be decided. Audiences will be on the edge of their seat while watching the men's arguments intensify as the play unfolds.
Admission: $20.00 for general admission; free for Flagler College students and employees. Tickets can be purchased online.
When: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, through Saturday, February 28; 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.
