The 3rd Annual Flavor Run 5K and Flavor Festival will take place in Ponte Vedra Beach on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The run begins at 9 a.m., and the festival follows the race.

The Flavor Run is known for the fruit-flavored colored powder that is used on the race participants, making this a unique 5K run experience. The run and the post-run Flavor Festival are fun for the whole family, with fresh fruit vendors, live entertainment, and children's activities after the run.

The Flavor Run is a for-profit organization that partners with various local children's charities for each event.

In addition to individual registration, there is a Crosswater Charity Ticket also available for race participants, the proceeds of which go directly to charity. All participants are asked to show up in all-white clothing which can then be dusted in the brightly colored powder.

Registration: Pre-registration through April 17 ($34 for adults and $25 for youth runners ages 7-15) includes a shirt, race bib, flavor packet and limited edition Banana finisher medal. Registration rates increase to $60 after April 17.  Kids 6 years and under may participate for free.

When: The 5K begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The Flavor Run Festival takes place after the race.

Where: The race begins at the Crosswater Community Church, which is located at 211 Davis Park Road in Ponte Vedra Beach FL 32081.
