First Coast Color Run
Saturday, May 8, 2021 | 9 a.m. at St. Johns Golf and Country Club
Northeast Florida’s most colorful race will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Johns Golf & Country Club.
In the First Coast Color Run, participants wear white with the intention of “letting their colors shine.” During the race, runners are splattered with a rainbow of colors as they compete for fastest runner in their gender and age categories.
Registration for the First Coast Color Run 5K is $35, and the First Coast 1 Mile Color Run is $35 or $40, depending on the time of purchase.
The race will follow a route through the scenic St. Johns Golf & Country Club off of State Road 210. Participants can enter as individuals or in teams of three or more. The fastest team wins.
Each runner will receive a sports towel, a pack of coloring pencils, a finishers medal, a finishers photo and a chance to win door prizes.
Packet pickup is on race morning between 8:15 and 8:45 a.m. at the St. Johns Golf & Country Club Amenities Center.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Helping Enrich Autistic Lives (HEAL) Foundation. Founded in 2004 by Leslie and Bobby Weed, the Ponte Vedra Beach-based nonprofit has granted more than $2 million to the local autism community. Through the foundation, HEAL has helped thousands of children, teens and adults through specialized programs, camps, educational enhancements, iPads and autism service dogs.
