Three Florida Storytellers, David Fussell, Kathy Kniery, and Debra Weller, relate the stories of three historic and influential Floridians on Friday, May 13 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the garden of the Ximenez-Fatio House.
David Fussell will portray Florida's first territorial governor, Governor William DuVal, and Kathy Kniery will portray his wife, Nancy Hynes DuVal. While governor, William DuVal helped Florida to become a state. His wife, Nancy Hynes DuVal raised their family in Tallahassee and has been credited with "establishing society" in that city.
Debra Weller will share the story of Florida author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, whose stories of Cross Creek have been loved by readers from around the world.
