Gatsby: A Charity Affair

On Saturday, April 13, 2019, the 6th Annual Gatsby for Charity event will take place at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. This year's theme is "Gatsby in the Gardens" and the event will take place from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

The annual Gatsby for Charity event is a true gala, where guests are encouraged to dress in their best 1920s attire and enjoy the evening like Daisy would, all to benefit the St. Johns Cultural Council. Over the last five years, this event has raised over $90,000 to benefit local charities. This year's proceeds will benefit the St. Johns Cultural Council and STArt Now.

The event will be held at the Fountain of Youth this year, with The Perfect Pour serving up cocktails, including a specialty gin drink. Ancient City Brewery will be back again this year with kegs of their finest. Cafe Alcazar will provide the heavy hors d'oeuvres, while Ramona and the Lets Ride ensemble will perform throughout the evening.

The St. Johns Cultural Council is active throughout St. Johns County furthering visual, literary and performing arts for students, the elderly, and aspiring artists who may not otherwise have had the ability to expand their creative outlets. The STArt Now non-profit serves local musicians and artists in working with the Cultural Council as well as assisting all creative artist in finding the tools, education, and resources they need.

Admission: $55 per person or $100 per couple. A VIP ticket is available for $125, which includes complimentary valet parking, an exclusive VIP area, a VIP-only bar and food tables, a gift bag, and photos with characters and models during the event. Visit here to purchase tickets.
