K9s United 9K, 5K, & 1-Mile Run

K9s United presents the annual 9K, 5K, and 1-mile runs on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The 9K and 5K runs begin at 8:00 a.m., and the 1-mile run starts at 9:00 a.m. Both races take place at the Ring Power Corporate Headquarters Complex at 500 World Commerce Parkway.

In addition to the races, there will be activities available for all ages, including K9 demonstrations, music, a K9 photo booth, kids' activities, and a K9 demonstration.

Participants have the option of participating both in-person and virtually and will receive participant medals.

Since law enforcement K9s are present at this event, you may not bring any pet other than a service animal.

Beneficiary

This annual event raises funds for K9s United, a nonprofit organization honoring the service and tragic death of K9 Officer Baron, a member of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Event Details

Registration: $38.00 for the 9K run, $28.00 for the 5K run, $21.00 for the 1-mile Fun Run, $40.00 for the 9K Virtual Run, $35.00 for the 5K Virtual Run, and $30.00 for the 1-mile Virtual Run. Note, prices may increase as the date nears. Learn more and register here.

Packet Pickup: Pick up packets and register on race day, April 25, at 6:00 a.m.

Race Timing and Scoring: Both the 9K and the 5K are chip-timed, and awards will be given for the top runners in each category.
