Limelight Theatre presents Memoirs of a Forgotten Man, Friday through Sunday, August 16 - 18, 2024. On Friday and Saturday, the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday's performance is a matinee at 2:00 p.m. This event will be held in Limelight's Koger-Gamache Black Box Studio Theatre.

Written by D. W. Gregory, Memoirs of a Forgotten Man premiered at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival in 2018. The Washington Post, WYPR of Baltimore Public Radio, and the Maryland Theatre Guide each favorably reviewed this suspenseful play and the characters created by Ms. Gregory. This play takes place in Leningrad and Moscow between 1937 and 1957 and is written so four actors can double into 10 roles. The primary characters are a Soviet journalist, a psychologist, and a government censor, and the topic is propaganda and how it was used to keep Stalin in power.
