Limelight Theatre: The Kitchen Witches

Limelight Theatre presents a play written by Canadian playwright Caroline Smith, on January 11- 27, 2024. The Kitchen Witches has delighted audiences in the U.S. and Canada for nearly 20 years and won the 2005 Samuel French Canadian Playwrights Contest.

In the play, The Kitchen Witches is the name of a new cable TV cooking show, featuring two long-time rival cooking show hosts, Dolly and Isobel. Of "a certain age," their rivalry began with Larry Biddle dated one of them and married the other. The small cast of four takes on the roles of Dolly, Isobel, Larry, and the show's producer, Dolly's son Stephen. Humor and insults fly while the cooking show's ratings climb. This play has mature themes and language.

Admission: Tickets are $30.00 for general admission, $28.00 for seniors 62 and over, and $25.00 for students and military. Terrific Tuesday tickets are $20.00. Student "Rush Tickets" are $10.00, when available, 30 minutes before curtain. (A $2.50 processing fee is added to each ticket.) Box office hours are on Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online.

When: Thursdays through Saturdays, January 11 through January 27 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 2:00 p.m. on January 14 through January 28. Terrific Tuesday is on January 23, at 7:30 p.m.
