Lincolnville Jazz at the Excelsior

This series of eight jazz concerts over four months will feature several of the finest musical artists in the region.

The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center will host a series of jazz concerts at 7:30 p.m.. on select Friday nights from January 14, to April 29, 2022.

The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center was formerly the historic Excelsior High School, the first public high school for African-Americans in St. Augustine. Lincolnville Jazz at the Excelsior will feature a number of highly regarded and talented artists, including Jacksonville native jazz and blues favorite Mama Blue, the live jazz fusion band Eric Carter & Company, the instrumental group Catch the Groove and the classically trained jazz and soul vocalist Akia Uwanda.

All the concerts take place on a Friday and begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

February 11 — Eric Carter & Company: Live Jazz Fusion

February 26 (Saturday) — Longineu Parsons

March 11 — Marcus Click

March 25 — Catch the Groove: Jazz Vocals

April 8 — Party in Box

April 29 — Akia Uwanda
