(904) 819-6365The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College welcomes Osaka-based artist Mai Ueda as its Artist-in-Residence and hosts a Japanese tea ceremony and performance by the artist on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Ueda blends performance, poetry, and a traditional Japanese tea ceremony to create immersive, contemplative art experiences. Her public performance and tea ceremony will invite visitors to explore mindfulness, connection, and the art of shared presence.
During her residency, Ueda will also work with students and local artists, offering workshops and collaborations inspired by her global exhibitions and her ongoing World Tea Gathering project.
