March for Life 2018
Saturday, January 13, 2018, 9:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios
The March for Life St. Augustine is an annual event that includes live music, a procession in historic downtown, guest speakers and a dinner. As many as 2,500 people from all over Florida have joined in the March for Life in past years to support anti-abortion, anti-capital punishment, and pro-life causes.
This year's speaker is Stephanie Gray, a Canadian pro-life activist who served 12 years as executive director of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform and currently works in her ministry Love Unleashes Life. In 2017, Gray was a featured speaker for Talks at Google giving a presentation titled "Abortion: From Controversy to Civility." She uses the Socratic method and storytelling, and invites audience members to be "pro-conversation" on topics that are difficult and divisive.
