  • The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Matt Maeson, singer and songwriter from Austin, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.

Although Matt has released a number of EPs, this tour celebrates his debut album, Bank on the Funeral. Matt has been praised as a young songwriter who "cannot write a bad song," and who successfully shares joy, sorrow, hope, and despair — the dark and light of his own life. He actually got his start performing in prisons, believing that sharing his music with those who are incarcerated is a way he can spread light.

While building his career, he worked in construction and spent time with his guitar, a pad, and a pen, and wrote songs that are both personal and universal, delivering the lyrics with an honest, slightly raw voice. Matt has a strong online following, has been on tour with Bishop Briggs, and played at festivals such as Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.

Admission: Tickets range from $28.00 to $30.00, and can be purchased on-line or at the Amphitheater Box Office on Anastasia Island, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

    When: Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. The doors open at 7:00 p.m.
