Learn a Latin dance during Merengue lessons at A1A Asian Kitchen on Thursdays, August 20 through September 10, 2026, at 7:45 p.m. All skill levels are welcome to join the party, and no partner is necessary to participate.
The St. Augustine Rug Cutters host merengue dancing lessons, featuring an upbeat step-by-step rhythm to help guide novice and experienced dancers. Along with merengue dancing, new styles are introduced every couple of weeks, including the shag, jitterbug, salsa, Lindy Hop, and bachata.
Keep the fun going after the lesson during the open dance session starting at 8:30 p.m.
Admission: $10.00 per person. The open dance is free.
