First Coast Cultural Center (FCCC) presents Midge Scelzo's exhibition A Brushstroke Journey, from Friday, August 21 to Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. An opening reception is on Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Scelzo's work has a stylistic approach featuring quick strokes, light filtering, and color as the essential elements. Most of her paintings simplify the main subject while incorporating themes of representational expressionism. Her collections have been showcased in juried shows throughout Northeast Florida.

Admission: Free. A $5.00 suggested donation is welcome.

When: Opening is on Friday, August 21, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., with the exhibit running until Thursday, October 8, 2026. Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
