Music Masters

Music Masters presented by EMMA Concert Association brings their lecture and recital series to the Flagler Room at Flagler College.

November 19, 2013 Lecture and Recital:

Janet Rabe-Meyer, a Soprano performer, is known for her joyful and skillful voice. She will perform a program titled, Witches, Bitches and Boys: A Mezzo Soprano Gets Into Character.Ms. Rabe-Meyer has been praised for her true acting and singing abilities.

She has earned her degrees in Voice Performance and Opera Performance from the North Carolina School of the Arts and then later Apprenticed with the Sarasota Opera, Natchez Opera Festival and was a Lockheed Martin Studio Artist with Orlando Opera.

Ms. Rabe-Meyers many accomplishments consist of performing with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Bach Festival of Winter Park, Orlando Messiah Chorale Society, First Coast Opera and much more.

Her 2013 2014 season includes several performances throughout Florida including the role of Mother in Hansel and Gretel from First Coast Opera, Miss Todd in the Old Maid and the Thief with Florida Opera Theater, BelleBellamy in The Fantastiks and more! Ms. Rabe-Meyers singing talent stretches across all performances, so come to Music Masters in the Flagler Room and enjoy!
