The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) asks for volunteers to help clean up the beach as part of its ongoing conservation efforts. The cleanup takes place on the GTMNERR's beaches in Ponte Vedra Beach, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Meet at the GTM Research Reserve Visitor Center for a brief orientation and instructions at 9:00 a.m.
Buckets, trash bags, and gloves are provided. However, you are encouraged to bring reusable containers and gloves to reduce waste. You are also encouraged to bring a water bottle and sunscreen, and wear closed-toe shoes.
