Deuterman Productions and the Colonial Oak Music Park present The New Mastersounds on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Colonial Oak Music Park.

The New Mastersounds formed in Leeds, England in 1999, where they built their reputation at London's Jazz Cafè before taking their music to the U.S. In the U.S., they have become regulars at New Orleans' annual Jazz Fest and tour throughout the country. The band is an instrumental funk and jazz band, and has collaborated with several vocalists, including Corinne Bailey Ray and Fred Wesley. They've also performed with premier musicians, including saxophonist Lou Donaldson and trombonist Bernie Purdie.

Eddie Roberts, guitarist, is the bandleader and producer. Simon Alen plays drums, Pete Shand plays bass, and Joe Tatton rules the keyboards. The group has released 15 original studio albums and four live albums.

Admission: Tickets are $28.21. You can purchase them in advance.
