Pecha Kucha Night: Disappearing Act
On Anastasia Island, 1.5 mile from the Bridge of Lions.

Things may get a little spooky at the October 18 Pecha Kucha evening brought to you by the St. Augustine Chapter of Pecha Kucha. First, the night's theme is "Disappearing Act," and second, the location is the St. Augustine Alligator Farm—in the dark of the night.
The evening begins with a social hour at 6:00 p.m., during which the audience and speakers can mingle and enjoy food and drink available for purchase. At 7:00 p.m., the first of five speakers will take the microphone and share their tale. The speakers will each have precisely six minutes and 40 seconds to share stories and slides about their experiences, frights, surprises, and mysteries. We aren't sure what the stories will be, and we know you'll be entertained.
For 12 years, the St. Augustine chapter of Pecha Kucha has presented local people sharing personal stories and photos. At PK events, pre-selected presenters discuss their thoughts on the evening's theme, showing 20 slides and speaking about each one for 20 seconds before moving on to the next. This 20X20 format enables each presenter to have six minutes and 40 seconds to tell their story.
During every Pecha Kucha Night, the audience can expect to learn, laugh, empathize, and experience a surprise or two.
Admission: Free. The Pecha Kucha chapter suggests a $20.00 donation to help defray the costs.
When: Saturday, October 18, 2025. Mingling starts at 6:00 p.m., and the presentations begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be a crowd, so arrive early, grab a brew and a bite, and stake out your seat. (Just make sure it's not too close to the alligators.)
