    THE PLAYERS 2020 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, combines the best field in golf with the world-class venue of THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The tournament will take place from Tuesday through Sunday, March 10 to 15, 2020. Visitors are welcome to attend each day of the championship including the practice rounds.

    THE PLAYERS is one of the most anticipated tournaments on the PGA Tour and boasts the largest purse as well as the strongest field. The stakes are high with a purse of 10 million. Golf Channel and others will be airing this exciting sporting event.

    Proceeds from THE PLAYERS benefit Northeast Florida charities and have totaled nearly $84 million since the event moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1977. Since announcing a new charitable focus in 2011, THE PLAYERS has committed to generate $50 million for youth-related charities over the next 10 years.

    Military Appreciation Day and Concert

    This year, THE PLAYERS will host a special Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The day will include pageantry by military personnel, a flyover by the 125th Fighter Wing, FL Air National Guard, and a National Anthem performance. Capping off the day will be the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony and live concert with The Chainsmokers at 5:00 p.m.

    Tournament Info

    Admission: Daily ticket prices vary by day of attendance and type of tickets. Stadium passes on practice days are $45 for Tuesday (Military Appreciation Day and Concert) and $25 for Wednesday. Tournament day tickets begin at $65 for Thursday, $70 for Friday, $70 for Saturday, and $65 for Sunday. Captain's Club passes, which include VIP seating and beer, wine, and soda, are available for Thursday through Sunday for $250 per day.     THE PLAYERS provides all career military (active duty, Reserve, military retirees and dependents) with complimentary admission to the tournament all week. Printed vouchers (available here) and photo IDs are required, and all military should check in at the Military Tickets tents located at any of the tournament gates. There is also a complimentary hospitality tent for military personnel, The Patriots' Outpost, located at the 16th Tee.

    When: In 2020, THE PLAYERS championship will be held from Tuesday, March 10, to Sunday, March 15, 2020. Tee-offs are in the morning, from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m., and individual events may last all afternoon.

    Parking: Parking passes are required, and can only be purchased online and in advance. Parking in the General Lot is $15.00 for Tuesday and Wednesday and $40.00 for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please visit here to purchase parking tickets. Fans with four or more in a vehicle may take advantage of a free parking offer with a voucher that can be downloaded here. The "Four for Free" voucher MUST be printed out each day before arrival.

    Youth Policy: Those 15 and under are admitted free of charge with a ticketed adult all week. Their access is limited to Grounds only. Youth ages 6 and older must have the appropriate ticket to enter the hospitality venues.

    Also, a Kids Zone presented by the Nemours Children's Health System is located near The PLAYERS Welcome Experience. The kids area has dry erase color walls to draw on, crafts, a giant Operations game, a photo booth with a golf cart as a prop, a cell phone charging station, and a Learning Lab. Parents are welcome to enjoy the space with their kids.

    Accessibility: For handicapped guests, there is a designated parking area to make access to the grounds easier.  There is a golf cart shuttle system operating around the grounds. Benches are marked where disabled visitors who are unable to walk far distances can wait to be taken to different areas of the course. The shuttle runs from when the gates open to 30 minutes after play.

    Getting There

    Tournament organizers recommend taking exit 32 on I-95, heading east on County Road 210, which turns into Valley Ridge Boulevard, and then turning right at the intersection of Valley Ridge Boulevard and Nocatee Parkway. Continue on Nocatee Parkway, which becomes Palm Valley Road as it takes you right to TPC Sawgrass.

    Uber: Uber is the preferred ride sharing partner of THe PLAYERS and will drop off and pick up at the Couples Entry off ATP Boulevard. Enter "THE PLAYERS Championship" as your destination on the Uber app.  When leaving, exit through the Couples Entry. Uber vehicles will be staged just outside..
