The "Plein Air, Paper & Pottery" Exhibition is a new collection of art from Matthew J. Cutter and Worley Faver, two nationally recognized local artists, on Friday, June 12, 2015, at Brilliance in Color Gallery.

St. Augustine native Worley Faver began his artistic exploration as a child, wandering through nature, absorbing the natural beauty of Northeast Florida. His spiritual bond with nature and the world informs his career as a potter. He draws inspiration from the world and dreams, and this spiritual awareness enters into his clay work. Faver adheres to ancient techniques that predate the invention of the potter's wheel. His work is infused with individual spirit.

New Hampshire born Matthew Cutter learned painting from his grandmother when he was a young boy. His early appreciation for both art and nature resulted in his career path as an artist. Cutter's work is reminiscent of the American Tonalist movement of the late nineteenth century. Known for his introspective work, Cutter's poetic paintings evoke an array of emotions in viewers.

Faver's hand-coiled pottery will be on display. Cutter's body of work continues to evolve in his newest installment of works done both on paper and "en plein air. "
