Chamber Music Series: Conspirare Concert
During a special Chamber Music Series event, the women's vocal ensemble Conspirare will perform John Rutter's recently composed "Visions," a work for violin, treble voices and keyboard.
The text for "Visions" refers to Jerusalem as the site of the sacred Temple of Israel and also as the Holy City envisioned by St. John in the biblical book of Revelation.
The ensemble, directed by Kerry Fradley, will be joined by Caren Umbarger on violin and Kathleen Vande Berg on piano.
The performance will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Ancient City Baptist Church.
