Romanza Festivale: The Concert Kiddos
Teacher and soprano soloist, Dr. Raquel Rubi, presents a fun musical program for children and adults, on Monday, May 8, 2023, from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Ancient City Baptist Church.
This performance includes students who are taking classes in Dr. Rubi's studios. They will sing, perform on various instruments, and dance. This event is both educational and a fun performance for all.
Dr. Rubi, studied and performed in Cuba before moving to the U.S., where she earned both a Master in Vocal Performance and a Doctorate in Musical Arts. In addition to performing, Dr. Rubi runs an educational non-profit in south Florida and teaches students in vocal skills in St. Augustine.

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival consisting of two weeks of historical, cultural and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine. From April 28 - May 14, 2023, the nation's oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events and historical tours, live theater and art exhibits.
