Romanza presents
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the Romanza Festivale presents Mama Blue in a free outdoor concert at the Plaza de la Constitución.
About Mama Blue
From Jacksonville, this singer, composer, and lyricist holds tight to her North Florida roots and is a favorite performer in the region. She earned the title "Best of the Beaches Female Vocalist" in 2020. She is described as having a big voice and a bigger heart. Mama Blue sings about her life and, in doing so, she sings about the lives of many with inspirational original songs projecting both joy and pain.
Mama Blue graduated from the Douglas Anderson School for the Arts and attended Jacksonville University, where she majored in vocal arts and drama. She performs frequently with a group of musicians and has been a featured artist in nightclubs, music events, and festivals from Memphis to Northeast Florida and beyond. Mama Blue is inspired by Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Nina Simone, Queen, and the Rolling Stones, and always features their songs in her shows.
This is an outdoor concert, and guests are invited to bring their chairs.
