On Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., the North Florida Women's Chorale presents "She's My Hero," a program celebrating strong women from history and favorite fiction. 

Part of the Chamber Music Series for the 2023 Romanza Festivale, this program will be held at the Ancient City Baptist Church, 27 Sevilla Street. Some of the songs included in the program a re "Miriam's Song," "As the Rain Hides the Stars," "Defying Gravity," and songs from Sound of Music. The program is directed by Kerry Fradley, and features Kathleen Vande Berg as collaborative Accompanist. 

The North Florida Women's Chorale presents music written specifically for women's voices, and provides their members with the opporunity to learn new works, enhance their skills, and to enjoy singing as an important part of their lives. In doing this, the group also enriches their audience and serves as role models for women of all ages.

Admission: Free

When: Saturday, May 6, 2023 from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Where: Ancient City Baptist Church, 27 Sevilla Street, St. Augustine

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival consisting of two weeks of historical, cultural and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine. From April 28 - May 14, 2023, the nation's oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events and historical tours, live theater and art exhibits.
