The St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation presents the inaugural San Agustin Rowing Challenge on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 11 a.m.

Visitors will watch the men's rowing team "Sons of Neptune" compete against the women's rowing team "San Agustin Sirens." Both rowing teams will use a chalupa boat, a wooden utility boat that was used during the colonial days of St. Augustine.

Guests that are interested in watching the competition will be able to best view the race from the bayfront north of the Bridge of Lions. The two rowing crews will be on the bay between the Castillo de San Marcos and the Bridge of Lions.
