Mile Marker Brewery and "First Coast Cares: Musicians Playing it Forward" hosts their Second Annual Charity Drive Event. The event will include local music, seasonal craft beers, raffles, fresh food, the Pink Heals pink fire truck and more.The Second Annual Charity Drive at Mile Marker Brewery will benefit two local charities, The St. Johns Ecumenical Ministries Food Pantry and S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue.Food pantry donations: cereal, canned foods, dry and boxed foods, grocery bags, other non-perishable foods.S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue Donations: Science Diet?? dry food, canned pet food, paper towels, bleach, and liquid laundry soap.Visitors who donate any of the previous items will receive one complimentary pint of Mile Marker?? beer or glass of wine, and a raffle ticket.Entertainment - Local Musicians such as Amy Hendrickson, 2/3rds, Brent Byrd, Nathaniel Good, John Dickie, Joe Schauer, Adam Lee, Hooch, Matanzas will provide entertainment for the all-day event!Brews and Food - Guests can enjoy new seasonal beer tapings and limited release brews created just for this event as well as pub-style food provided on site by the S.O.S. Diner food truck.Also, the pink fire truck from the local St. Johns County Pink Heals chapter will be stopping by!St. Johns Ecumenical Ministries Food Pantry, located in St. Augustine, FL, promotes public awareness of local hunger issues and offers emergency food assistance to residents of St. Johns County. It is staffed by volunteers from our 12 member churches and is supported by generous donations from community organizations and residents. Pet Rescue, Inc. was founded in September 2008 with the goal of saving adoptable dogs and cats from euthanasia in Northeast Florida.
