Shadows of the Past at Fountain of Youth Archeological Park take visitors on a tour of the grounds after dark. Guests can explore the historic grounds as the sun sets.
The guided tour: It winds around to the Timucuan Village of Seloy lit by a warm campfire and the Timucuan burials there. Then visitors head over to the Pedro Menendez de Aviles settlement field to experience the scene where so many significant moments in history happened. Visitors will also explore the 600 ft Founders' Riverwalk, affording striking views of the lights of downtown St. Augustine.The Shadows of the Past guided tour is mysterious and intriguing, since the park is built upon the remains of thousands of Native Americans who lived there before the Spanish landed and colonized the area. Visitors can experience the peculiar serenity found on these hallowed grounds after dark.

When? Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with tours starting at 8:30 pm.
