On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and Sing Out Loud present an afternoon for young musicians at the Waterworks. The afternoon includes a fun workshop presentation by the members of Bad Dog Mama and a concert featuring five local musicians and groups.

The Workshop

Chelsea Saddler and Lauren Gilliam, solo musicians and songwriters, and the duo known as Bad Dog Mama, present "Gigs and Giggles," a conversation and mutual interview about their music careers. The planned discussion includes how they got to be where they are now, what else they want to achieve, and how they are balancing the trifecta of work, life, and art. The audience has the opportunity to ask questions on the suggested topics of goals, the creative process, and the realities of being a gigging artist.

Live Music

After the one-hour presentation and question-and-answer session, these young musicians take to the stage to perform:

  • Liam Jones
  • Eloise Arnold
  • Paige Bechtel
  • Manchild
  • Alivia Hunter
