Husband and wife duo, Wayne and Jane Sims, tackle the topic of dining in St. Augustine with a look at the past and the present in "Eat Your Heart Out: How St. Augustine Became a Mecca for Fine Dining." This event for Romanza Festivale takes place on Monday, May 8, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Waterworks.

Humorists and historians, Wayne and Jane have developed a style of telling stories in tandem — much as other long-married couples do, but they have a plan and practice. For years, they have regaled Romanza audiences with tales of St. Augustine's history, weaving legends, folklore, and actual events into each set. This year, they are delighted to present their stories at the St. Augustine Waterworks, because they were married in the building an untold number of years ago.

Admission: Tickets can be purchased only at the door and are $10.00 per person, and 2 for $15.00.

When: Monday, May 8, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Where: The St. Augustine Waterworks Building. While the building fronts on San Marco, the entrance is from 1960 N. Ponce de Leon Boulevard, and they use the back lot at the Main Branch of the Library for parking.
