The St. Augustine Waterworks hosts four female Tale Tellers of St. Augustine for an afternoon program about women's history on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.

Natalie Beltrami, Kathy Duffy, Margaret Kaler, and Robin Mahonen will relate tales about women and their power. Some will be funny, and others may be lightly spiced with pepper. The tales start with the women accused of witchcraft when "witches" were burned and move through history. Along the way, you may hear the phrase, "Come up and see me, sometime."

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine was formed in 1993 by storytelling enthusiasts. Their mission is to pass on and enhance the art of storytelling. With more than 30 members, this group seeks to revive storytelling as an art form and social means of communication by presenting several showcases throughout the year.

Admission: Free. The St. Augustine Public Library will sponsor this event; no reservations are required.

When: Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
