Todd Snider Concert with Chicago Farmer

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes alt-country singer/songwriter Todd Snider back to the stage on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Snider will be joined by classic folk musician Chicago Farmer, aka Cody Diekhoff. 

Snider combines wit, honesty and spontaneity in his musical performances, bringing together Americana, alternative rock and country to create his unique musical style.

Snider's music career began after seeing Jerry Jeff Walker perform in a local California bar. He moved to Memphis and established a name for himself on the local bar scene. He was discovered by Keith Sykes, who was a member of Jimmy Buffets' band and got Snider signed to Buffet's own label.

He released several albums that were critically acclaimed and amassed a small following, but it was with his 2008 album, Peace Queer, that Snider's music topped the charts. The 2008 album reached No. 1 on the Americana Airplay Chart. Snider's latest album, released in 2010, Agnostic Hymns and Stoner Fables, was included in the Rolling Stone list of the top 50 albums of 2012, saying, "One of the sharpest, funniest storytellers in rock, Snider keeps the indictments coming."

Admission: Tickets are $32 to $46. 

When: 8 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall located at 1050 A1A North Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
