On Sunday, March 24, 2017, the St. Augustine Archaeological Association will present a special screening of the 1954 film Valley of the Kings in honor of Florida Archaeology Month. Valley of the Kings was filmed on location in Egypt, and tells the perilous tale of a fictional archaeologist exploring the tomb of Egyptian prince Ra-Hotep. The story is set in the year 1900.

In addition to the film screening, there will be a costume contest at this event. Attendees are encouraged to dress up to compete for the titles of "Best Dressed Egyptian" and "Best Dressed Archaeologist."

Admission: $5.00 per person.

When: Sunday, March 26, 2017, at 4 p.m.

Where: The Corazon Cinema and Cafe is located at 36 Granada Street in St. Augustine, FL 32084.
