Waves of Hope 5K

The Waves of Hope 5K starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the St. Augustine Ocean Pier. The race starts at the pier and heads south down the beach to a point just past Guy Harvey Resort, where the runners will turn around and head back to the pier. 

All racers are invited to go to Back 40 A1A after the race for the official celebration and awards. Your race ticket can be exchanged for one free drink. The organization will present awards to the fastest runners in age and gender categories. 

Beneficiary

The race benefits the Tidal Resilience Foundation, a Northeast Florida nonprofit supporting children and families who have experienced the loss of a parent or caregiver. The foundation offers resilience programs using ocean-based lessons to help grieving young people find connection and a sense of belonging.

Registration: $35.00 for all racers. Register online.

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026. The race starts at 9:00 a.m., and packet pick-up begins at 8:00 a.m. The after-party at Back 40 A1A starts immediately after the race.
