Scott Sweet is a self-proclaimed chameleon and also claims to be one of the only two known Puerto Rican banjo players in the nation, born there while his father was stationed as a military serviceman. Sweet delivers a body of work that stretches the mind and rounds out the corners of rooms. A progressive fusing of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, folk, and original acoustic rock, Sweet's on-stage aura is comedic, warming, and often nostalgic.

Jim Johnston, dubbed as "Dr. Metric" by his colleagues and local musician friends in St. Augustine, carries with him an on-stage presence showcasing lifetimes of musicality and performance experience. Jim is a Florida native who grew up learning music theory and guitar throughout his middle school and high school years. He holds a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the music world and not only brings a light hearted persona to his audiences, but also a deep variety of both cleverly engaging and highly emotional original songwriting. 

The magnetic Jake Cox, a well-known staple musician in St. Augustine, always brings his downhome roots and charismatic charm to the stage in every performance. The epitome of the outlaw country and Mississippi blues sound, Cox's old-time traditional influences blended with his deep Appalachian ancestral bonds and dynamic originality make him one of the craftiest songwriters of his time. 
 

St. Augustine's finest at its best, Lauren Gilliam is an innovative, one-of-a-kind musician. Growing up influenced by vocal harmonies from church congregations, Lauren took to singing at an early age, gaining a defined taste for harmonic singing. Lauren makes up one half of the WillowWacks, her husband and wife folk duo, two thirds of The Young Step, her alter-ego David Bowie inspired rock band, and one half of the local rock/folk duo, Big Dog Mama, with St. Augustine staple Chelsea Saddler.

Originally from New Jersey, and then Ohio, Smokin Joe Schauer has been a St. Augustine landmark musician for more than 15 years. A fiery beast of a guitarist and a smooth-as-butter mandolin player, Joe is known around St. Augustine as "Smokin Joe" for good reason. His daring ability to dance outside the music lines makes Joe a spectacle to observe as an audience member. He is not bound to any form when it comes to his original material, and this also makes him a highly efficient improvisational mandolin and guitar player.

St. Augustine's Billy Buchanan is known nationwide for both his award-winning songwriting and his all-star tribute acts. Originally from Ohio, Billy moved to St. Augustine in 2007 and is now known as "St. Augustine's Ambassador of Rock 'n Soul."

St. Augustine's the Driftwoods are family—not biologically, but as kindred spirits cut from the same cloth, as lifelong friends, and as musicians. The band primarily performs bluegrass music with each of the four members taking the vocal lead. Hearing three and four part harmonies with an overlay of that good ol' southern sound is a guarantee for any audience lucky enough to catch this ensemble. This act is one of the finest bluegrass bands in the Southeast, performing everything from traditional songs with unknown authors to Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley.

With a musical career that has spanned several decades, St. Augustine's  Richard Kuncicky has come to understand the very essence of musical art, as well as the art of performing. With a repertoire that contains almost every style, genre, and era, Richard falls into a category of his own making. Richard will sew patterns of musical magic with several genres, completely moving against the grain of expectation. His ability to master style combined with his comfy-as-a-quilt on-stage presence leaves audiences feeling as if they are sitting by the fire.
