Third Space Improv presents Wine Down with Laughter Yoga on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

Laughter yoga offers a mind and body transformational experience to participants. The session includes facilitated breathing, stretching, clapping, laughing, meditating, and relaxing.

The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the VA, invites military veterans and their families to the Tacklebox Lingo Workshop at the Usina Boat Ramp on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

This interactive session is perfect for veterans of all abilities, and their families, to learn essential fishing terminology, skills, and techniques in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants gain hands-on experience with fishing tools and gear, guided by knowledgeable staff.

The St. Johns County Parks Department will host Fishing 101: Buying the Right Rod and Reel at 603 Euclid Avenue at the Usina Boat Ramp in Vilano Beach on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Guests (ages 10 and up) will learn about rods and reels, their use, and where to purchase them. 

Guests can learn Nature Journaling techniques and immerse themselves in the scenic beauty of Butler Park East on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event is designed for people ages 10 and up. 

Named after Frank B. Butler, a leader in St. Augustine's civil rights efforts, Frank B. Butler Park offers a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere containing a unique dune system. 

The park's panoramic views make it a popular destination for travelers and locals.

On Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., Jason Woods, actor, director, writer, and experienced acting coach, leads his students in presenting an Actor's Workshop Showcase.

Stages: Acting for Any Stage at Any Age presents students from Jason's acting workshops. They will take turns in performing scenes from a variety of productions, including Lincoln, Harvey,  and Doubt. 

Cafe Eleven presents Damon Fowler on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at  8:00 p.m.

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Damon Fowler hails from Florida's Gulf Coast and creates music that stems from the American experience.

With music combining soul, blues, and rock, Fowler wins over audiences and critics from far and wide. Nominated by the Blues Foundation for his work on Alafia Moon, Fowler continues to prove that his mixed styles and distinct vocals set him apart from the average southern artists.
