River City Wrestling Con, Northeast Florida's first annual pro wrestling fan convention, is Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.

There are live matches/Q&A panels with globally recognized icons, costume contests, and gaming for everyone in the family to enjoy. Wrestling talent—past, present, and future stars—will be available for meet-and-greets.

On May 21, 2024, the St. Augustine Chapter of Pecha Kucha presents several speakers who will discuss the topic of "Industry" with an emphasis on the service industry, at the Dog Rose Brew Pub. The speakers and audience are invited to gather at 8:00 p.m. or before. Attendees can purchase beverages from Dog Rose and food from the African Love Kitchen food truck. The presentations will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Learn from experienced surf instructors on your next beach trip.

Oldest City Surf School, founded by a Flagler College alumnus, provides private, semi-private, and group lessons for those learning how to ride waves.

Lessons are catered to all ages, experience levels, and group size. Each lesson runs for 90 minutes with 20 minutes of that time being taught basic skills on the sand.

Day and week-long surfboard rentals are also available. Area delivery and pick-up services can be arranged for a fee. Note: rent at least two surfboards to qualify.

Charles "Charlie" Cobb, civil rights activist, journalist, and author, will join the congregation of the St. Paul A.M.E. and speak about his experience in the South during the struggle for civil rights in the 1960s. He will talk during the service, on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The service begins at 10:45 a.m. and will be followed by a reception in the church's community room.

This young singer/songwriter is building a career in country music.

Paige King Johnson grew up in farming country—Angier, North Carolina—where she showed horses, sang, and played guitar.

As a young girl, she would perform in fairs, at festivals, and on other country and small-town stages, later opening for impressive acts while she was still in high school, including Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, and Oliver Anthony.
