Ancient City Cooking Experience

First Coast residents and visitors fascinated with St. Augustine's food scene can take advantage of Ancient City Cooking Experience which runs out of the Ancient City Brunch Bar on St. George Street just south of King Street. Ancient City Cooking Experience invites local chefs to host cooking demonstrations in front of guests making for a live cooking show which allows for a more experiential culinary evening.

These relaxed evenings where patrons can enjoy the cooking process as well as the results are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 4 p.m. and at 6 p.m. For those wanting a more hands-on cooking lesson, Ancient City Cooking Experience will be rolling out weekend classes.

At present, demonstration evenings have space for eight guests. The special evenings come with wine pairings and charcuterie appetizers and are priced at $85 per person.

Ancient City Cooking Experience supports the local agriculture, seafood industry, restaurants, chefs, and culinary experts in an effort to create awareness of the year-round seasonal fresh foods, unique cooking styles, and food experts in and around St. Augustine.
