On Friday, November 6, 2026, the AC Hotel St. Augustine hosts artist Gwen Mehler and the singer-songwriter Sage Trunnell in a free event from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Exhibit
Gwen Miller's work is bright and vibrant. Her detailed acrylic paintings usually feature animals against meticulous backgrounds reminiscent of old wallpaper. Each work offers a fun bit of whimsy while depicting the animals and birds with realism.
The hero image of this post is a section of Gwen's painting titled "Roseate Spoonbills," showing the three birds perched on an ornate metal chair.
The Evening
In addition to meeting the artist, the hotel bar offers food and drink for purchase.
Singer and songwriter Sage Trummell performs during the event.
