AC Hotel St. Augustine

AC Marriott, Marriott's newest business brand, has built a new hotel at 90 Riberia Street in St. Augustine. The AC brand is known worldwide for creating a serene hotel experience for business travelers and tourists.

AC Hotels by Marriott

The AC brand was founded in 1998 in Spain by Antonio Catalan and purchased by Marriott in 2011. Marriott has taken the brand to most of the world's seven continents and now has more than 150 hotels worldwide. The AC Marriott St. Augustine sits in a former vacant lot on the San Sebastián River, where there had been an abandoned marina. The hotel plans to rebuild the docks and marina. 

AC Hotel St. Augustine

The new hotel is accepting reservations for November of this year. The property is not yet open. 

When open, the property has a lounge with signature cocktails, an AC Restaurant that serves American cuisine, and an AC Kitchen in the morning that serves breakfast inspired by European morning cuisine.

From the check-in desk, through the public rooms, and into each guest room, the decor throughout is sleek, modern, uncluttered, yet very comfortable. 

Location

You can walk to the St. Augustine Distillery and the San Sebastián Winery in just a few minutes. Most people will be able to walk to the Plaza de la Constitución, in the heart of St. Augustine's historic district, in less than 15 minutes. If you like to walk, you can leave your car in the hotel's free lot and easily get to most of the oldest city's restaurants, art galleries, and attractions on foot. 

Since the lot is free, when you travel farther to visit shops, restaurants, attractions, and the beach, it's easy to hop in your car, enjoy your day, and return to the hotel.
