The Lightner Museum hosts an after-hours tour of the special exhibit, "The Triumph of Nature," on two Thursdays, February 22 and March 7, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Led by the museum's Executive Director, David Bagnall, the tour explores the commonalities and differences among some of the signature works of art in the exhibit, "The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art." On tour through International Arts and Artists of Washington D.C., this exhibit includes furniture, glass, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and textiles from the period.

This after hours tour features several works, including the furniture of Louis Majorelle, posters by Alphonse Mucha, and glass work by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The tour concludes with drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and the opportunity to mingle and ask questions.

Admission: $40.00 for the general public and $20.00 for museum members.

When: Thursday, February 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, March 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The tour begins at 6:00 and will be followed by drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.
