  • Contemporary blues artist Ana Popovic, known for her slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals, and soulful vocals, brings her unique blues style to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

Born in Belgrade in former Yugoslavia, Ana grew up with music all around her. Her father hosted jam sessions nearly every night in their home, and his comprehensive blues and soul record collection strongly influenced her taste. At 15, she began playing the guitar, and has since developed into an extremely talented guitarist/vocalist, with a growing base of fans who flock to see her on her many tour stops. She and her four-piece band tour major blues, jazz and rock festivals all over the world, performing some 120 times a year.

Ana’s album, Can You Stand The Heat, was featured on NPR Music and was a USA Today "Pick Of The Week.” This year, Ana was added to the all-star Experience Hendrix tour that celebrates the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix, where she will perform with Buddy Guy, Bootsy Collins, Brad Whitford, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Zakk Wylde.

In the past, Ana has shared the stage with B.B. King, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Robert Randolph, and many other world-famous performers. When not on tour, she resides in Memphis, TN.
