The Ancient City Privateers host their annual Blackbeard's Pirate Ball, where pirates and pirate lovers enjoy an evening of "food, rum, music, pirate garb, and more rum," on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Assembly Room at Art N' Motion, 283 San Marco Avenue.

The pirates know how to party, with a full cash bar, a live and silent auction, "heavy hors d'oeuvres," and dancing while a DJ spins tunes. The Ancient City Sirens perform during the evening, giving you a break from dancing.

The Ancient City Privateers is the founding host of Blackbeard's Pirate Ball. They are a nonprofit 501c3 organization that donates its net proceeds to select local charities, including Pie in the Sky.
