The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents two venerable punk bands from California, Bad Religion and Social Distortion. These bands, and the Lovebombs, will perform on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.

A West Coast hardcore punk band, Bad Religion has released 19 albums since forming in 1980. Known for their harmonies and musicality, Bad Religion has often been listed as an influence on punk bands of more recent years. The membership of the band ebbed and flowed in the 80s and 90s until they settled into what is now the current lineup: Greg Graffin on vocals, Jay Bentley on bass, Brian Baker and Mike Dimkich on guitar, and Jamie Miller on drums.

Social Distortion has performed for more than 30 years, developing a punk sound that's a mix of bluesy rock 'n' roll and outlaw country. The result is a hard rockabilly punk that appeals to all ages. Social Distortion consists of frontman Mike Ness and longtime guitarist Jonny Wickersham, along with bassist Brent Harding and drummer David Hidalgo, Jr. At the concerts on the tour, Social Distortion will play their 1983 debut Mommy's Little Monster in its entirety.
